Environmental Policy

Basic Policy

We recognize that environmental issues are important and that resources are not limitless. With this in mind, we remain committed to being an environmentally sound company that fulfills our social responsibilities while developing, manufacturing and selling surface finishing chemicals and other products. We have established the following Action Guidelines based on this Basic Policy. In accordance with the Action Guidelines, we will comply with legal requirements and additionally will comply with other requirements that have our support and strive to continuously reduce our environmental impact and prevent our causing of contamination.

Action Guidelines

1. We will accurately assess our environmental impact and work toward environmental conservation to that extent technically and economically feasible.
2. We will comply with environment-related laws, ordinances and other requirements regarding environmental conservation.
3. We will strictly manage the chemical substances we handle and the chemical substances contained in our products for the sake of environmental conservation.
4. We will promote recycling, resource saving, energy conservation, waste reduction and other activities for the sake of environmental conservation.
5. We will improve our employees’ understanding of our Environmental Policy through education and promotion activities so as to improve their environmental awareness.
6. We will determine and periodically review our environmental objectives and targets to achieve a continuous reduction of our environmental impact.
7. We will aggressively promote the development and provision of products with a lower environmental impact for the sake of environmental conservation.
